How the game progressesThe game starts with Luna being rather weak.As the game progresses, she gets upgrades to her existing abilities - for instance - running and jumping powers on the first level. On the second level, she gains a double jump ability which can be used to gain speed, halting mid-air or overcoming obstacles.Each skill you unlock can also be used to play previous levels and maybe access new areas within levels!Don't forgetIt is helpful to read the Hints on each level. The sound and music scapes really are exceptional, and immerse you into the expansive landscapes. The visual effects are rewarding. Each level seems to test a different aspect of the 2.5D gameplay.. what the ♥♥♥♥. THIS GAME SCARED THE SH**T OUT OF ME AWFULL MUSIC WILL SCARE YOU WHEN YOU FIRST RUN IT SO RUN FOR YOU LIFE. Graphics look weird, settings don't seem to take (resolution won't change no matter what I do) and the game crashed 5 minutes into story mode. When it's cleaned up I'm sure it will be fun but I can't recommend it right now.. A decent game with old school graphics. Brought back some memories from Sonic and MDK graphics.. Really slow gameplay and ridiculously long loading times. I'd only recommend this rubbish to the sloth from Zootopia.Thankfully I got this for £0.99 in the sale. Wouldn't even recommend it at that price though, yey alone the 9.99 they apparently expect normally.. The new update has really turned this game around and made it a joy to play. Disclaimer - I was given a review copy of this game by the developer/publsher.I am enjoying my time with this game. The music is very relaxing and the gameplay is fairly straight-forward. I like the sense of speed you get when running down a slope to pick up crystals. I did have a couple instances when my frame rate would drop for a split-second. This is like Sonic that isn't played with Sonic itself.A few quick pointers here.The game may be made in the new age of tech but it shares a lot of the mechanics that made older games so enjoyable, we have a beautiful game to look at, for a mere platformer this games look and feel is very decently done, the art and style was created and shaped very nicely, thus bringing us this beautiful game to look at.The sound and voice acting for this game is done just as well, actually quite pleasant to hear and have played in the background, which is saying much for indie games.My biggest issue is that i do not think this game is worth it's price tag, it is quite over priced in that regard, i do recommend getting it on sale or in a bundle.
